Mercer Scholarship from Green Thumb Garden Club, Inc.

This scholarship is awarded to a qualified student(s) from Walton County whose academia includes horticulture or botany. The Chair is responsible for promoting GTGC with schools vetting applicants based on the approved Club standard and rules. The Chair presents the applicant(s) for approval to the President and board members for final selection. The scholarship amount may vary. The Scholarship is funded from donations collected each year through Ways and Means. The Scholarship must be used for his or her tuition and paid directly to the school on the students behalf. The student must present their winning essay to the membership.
