John C. Pace, Jr. Scholars

John C. Pace Scholar awards are awarded to directly support “high impact practices” (or “HIPs”) for students in good standing in the Kugelman Honors Program who have completed their Honors core coursework. HIPs are co-curricular educational experiences that have been proven to enhance student learning. HIPs include activities such as study abroad, undergraduate research, co-ops, conference attendance, service-learning, internships, and community service.

Pace awards are cash awards that vary in amount depending on the particular HIP. Amounts can be as high as $3,000. Students may apply for funding for multiple HIPs if they have not received more than $3,000 in previous Pace awards.
