Eglin Federal Credit Union / Joseph E Majors Scholarship

Need-based Scholarships for UWF full-time students that meet enrollment requirements. Recipients may be a recent high school graduate or returning student who has maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Recipients must provide membership of good standing in the Eglin Federal Credit Union (the Financial Aid Office will verify membership with a designed representative of EFCU), and complete a 100-300 word essay indicating the recipient’s intended major, designated degree and documented community service. Donor requests the opportunity to review completed applications including the essays and may provide feedback to the UWF Financial Aid Office. Maximum awards may not exceed tuition and matriculation fees with a maximum amount of $1,000 per year. Scholarships will be renewable commensurate with University policies for up to a total of two years. Awards will be determined by Financial Aid.
