Government Finance Officers Association Scholarships

The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the United States and Canada, which serves government finance professionals throughout those countries, is pleased to announce five (5) scholarships:

• Frank L. Greathouse Government Accounting Scholarship for $10,000.00
• Goldberg-Miller Public Finance Scholarship for $15,000.00
• Government Finance Professional Development Scholarship $10,000.00
• Jeffrey L. Esses Career Development Scholarship from $5,000.00 to $15,000.00
• Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship for $10,000.00

Candidates for these scholarships should have a superior record of academic achievement and/or job performance and show promise of completion of their studies at a high level of performance. In addition, candidates should have plans to pursue a career in state or local government finance.
