ARGO Scholars Program

Scholarship and awards to high-achieving Kugelman Honors students in good standing from Escambia and Santa-Rosa Counties for tuition, housing, board and books. Funding may also support cultural activities and/or related field trips as well as study abroad or other high impact learning experiences. Students must have completed their Honors core coursework to be eligible.

ARGO awards are cash awards that vary in amount depending on the particular need. Amounts can be as high as $3,000. Scholarships will be renewable commensurate with University policies. Students must reapply for each additional award and must meet the original qualifying standards.

    • I agree to write a thank-you letter to the donor for any scholarship I may receive
    • Please outline your estimated budget. If you are requesting a stipend to support an internship, please include the total stipend amount requested. Otherwise, break down your expenses as appropriate. This may include airfare, conference registration, hotel, meals, living expenses, research supplies, program fees (including tuition), travel expenses, or other costs.
    • Please provide a narrative describing how you intend to use these funds. It should be at least 250 words and describe how you anticipate it will benefit you personally, academically, and/or professionally.
    • Please provide the names of faculty and/or staff who will be present during the activity/event. Please write N/A if you aren't working with any faculty/staff.
